What started as a one session birthday gift from my wife turned into 2 years of voice lessons with Matt - and could not have been happier with my experience! He is a great and accomplished vocalist and a wonderful teacher. I came from barely reading music and not really knowing how to use my voice effectively. It was impressive how he could identify what I was doing and correct my form even from a physiological standpoint, giving me new exercises and tips on developing my voice and technique in singing. He offered the flexibility of doing lessons over Zoom during the pandemic and as needed for my schedule. He was also of course very prompt to start and end lessons on time, and I appreciated the automated email reminder system he has in place.
Overall I had a wonderful experience with this school and am sure you will too.

Joyful voice is a fantastic place to learn how to sing. The husband and wife team of Matt and Judy run an excellent, organized program. Judy is absolutely wonderful with kids. She is patient, nurturing and incredibly effective. She also knows a huge range of music and picks amazing pieces for kids to learn. I strongly recommend Joyful Voice. It is simply the best!

My daughter took voice lessons with Matt for several years. From a scheduling standpoint, he is quite organized and communicative. As a vocal coach, he is excellent. My daughter learned so much for him and really enjoyed her weekly hour. Highly recommend.
