I think that I am a young 65 but had tried PT and with bone on bone there was no need to keep trying that. Dr. Goyle suggested that I do my replacement as an outpatient, which I did. The results were fabulous. I was off meds in a couple of days and off crutches in less than 2 weeks. And, I could bend my knee to a surprising degree very quickly. Yes, it hurt to do that. But if you follow through with PT and do the work, it's like having a new lease on life. I would highly recommend Dr. Goyle or actually anyone in his group at the Anderson Orthopedic Hospital.
