“Through my time at Gunston, I found it to be a good school. However, they did not offer challenging courses- although that is just my opinion. It is still in one of the best counties in the country, and is probably in the top few hundred middle schools. That aside, I found my time a Gunston middle school to be both an academic and social journey. There is a very welcoming environment amongst most students and teachers. It is rather mellow compared to the work load I'm doing in high school- although my perception of Gunston being easy may be altered by the school I'm currently going to. Even so, I learned a lot during my time at Gunston; I would recommend going. P.S.: However, if you're like me, and you're going to a high school outside of Arlington, then make sure that you have a strong understanding of whatever language you may be taking. Arlington public schools have a very different Spanish curriculum than Fairfax.”
