I'm am a combat veteran who was wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and for the past 20 years many doctors and the Veterans Affairs never gave me any answers and all they did was pump me full of dangerous medications that only covered the symptoms while never addressing the cause of the problems. After my first appointment with Dr. MacDowall he pin pointed the areas of concern and gave me the answers that no one else was able to give me for the past 20 years. I've been his patient for 8 months now and I've seen a significant difference for the better and I feel like he has given me my life back. Dr and staff are wonderful! Out of no where my shoulder was killing me, I was crying and couldn't even fix my bra. After and Xray and fitting me in quick, my neck was and hips are the reason. Slowly but surely my shoulder is getting better and I'm hopeful everything else will be better with each visit!

The staff are very friendly and professional. Waiting area is never crowded , thus you will be seen promptly and timely. Also, it is very clean and sanitary. Dr. MacDowall is very friendly and professional. I really appreciate how he explains your issues giving you a full understanding. He also takes his time to explain the treatment he will provides. I have been going to Spine Center for about 15 years. I remember my first visit I came in there walking bent over my lower back and kept going out over and over and I didn't know what was going on. Dr. McDowell took x-rays and saw that my neck and back or an S shape in 3 places. He started working on them and manipulating my spine and pushing my disc back in place and by the time he finished I was able to walk out of their standing straight. Every time I come here I am greeted with beautiful faces and welcoming words by his wonderful staff. They all make the atmosphere in there so soothing and calming and I feel so much peace. I call it a piece of heaven. My back has never gone back to 3 S shapes. He is an amazing doctor and one of the most knowledgeable chiropractors I've ever met. He takes the time to explain what's going on with our spines and other parts of our body and how it all effects every organ in our body.
