The care my 3 dogs have received at the Chesapeake Humane Society has been second to none! From the time we walk in the door until the time I walk out, I am treated with courtesy and respect and my 3 babies are treated with absolute love. They know me...and they know all of my dogs by name. I have been accused of being a bit "overboard" with my 3 little babies but none of the staff have acted like I am even a bit crazy over my dogs! They understand that I just want the absolute best care for them. They listen, intently, to my concerns and they actually care about everything I am saying. I couldn't be happier with the care they receive. Thank you to each and every person on that staff who has taken care of Kirby, Prissy, and Benny. You are all amazing!
Over the years their prices have done nothing but increase. And now an additional exam fee. I feel good giving them my money because I know it's going to good use. Price increase or not, they have some of the best prices around and take really good care of all my babies! Very well kept and knowledgable staff. Chesapeake has a gem.
They offer affordable services for residents. For me and my family we appreciate this. We always enjoy visiting their cat room because you never know when you may find your new furry friend.
I adopted our new kitty, Harry from the Chesapeake Humane Society 5/22/19. Everyone was just terrific and friendly. We were able to go back and hang out with the kitties and interact with them while we were introduced to our Harry. The animals all looked happy and well taken care of. Thank you to the staff for making our adoption process easy and enjoyable!
They took care of my cats neuter. They called and confirmed his appointment. They were so nice at drop off and pick up. Answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable.
