(February 9, 2020, 3:03 pm)Hwy 55 has a great atmosphere, great food, and wonderful people! Every time we come here, we're greeted by smiles and happy demeanors. I love a good old fashioned American diner, and this place definitely takes the cake! Grab anything off the menu--you won't be disappointed. :) (The gravy fries are BOMB DIGGITY)
(January 5, 2020, 8:55 pm)It's been a while since I've been close to a Hwy 55, so I was ecstatic when this one popped up on the map. I brought a couple of friends with me tonight and they loved it! They had never been to one before. Our waitress, Chrysler, was fantastic! I was very impressed with the cleanliness as well. Oh, and of course the food was amazing... like always! Walking in felt like coming home. I will be back.
(December 27, 2019, 1:05 pm)I hadn't tried this place before, nor heard of it before. It's kind of like a 5 Guys mixed with Johnny Rockets. 50s feel, with burgers, chicken, and hot dogs. The food was pretty good for the price and staff was friendly. Definitely a super casual place, a step above fast food. I'd come back for a quick meal, and to try the milkshakes.
(June 25, 2019, 11:06 am)Good chicken philly on a subway sandwich. Nothing was greasy including the onion rings, nor the lil’ cheeseburger we ordered after splitting that Andy size sandwich. Concrete was pretty decent. Not nearly as thick as I would like or some other joints have literally a brick in their custard with mix ins.

55 for the first time since they opened. Nathan ordered chicken strips and fries while I ordered a philly cheesesteak and fries. The burgers and sandwiches were good. We enjoyed shakes as well. Atmosphere was nicely done with the 50s theme including music.

I used to eat at this Hwy 55 location very frequently, either by myself, or with family and friends. The management obviously started cutting corners and the quality of their food The chili fries were excellent and meals were quick and hit. The milk shakes were fantastic. We will definitely be returning.
