Chesepeake JKD is the best place to train in the Hampton roads area! Everyone I've trained with is friendly, polite, and serious about training without taking themselves too seriously. The instructor not only has the most correct approach to JKD and self-defense I've seen in the area, but does not put on airs and demand a cult-like adherence to himself or his art. Here you find the true spirit of martial art - earnest instruction of correct techniques and mindsets for self-defense of all skill levels while enjoying the company of quality martial artists. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Chesapeake JKD & Wing Chun is a great place for Men, Women , and their Children to learn self defense in a Family Friendly atmosphere from an Excellent Teacher! My Son and I have been taking classes for almost a month now and we both enjoy it very much. Rob Doggett is a Great Teacher and Communicator and paces the classes to maximize learning and retention of JKD and Wing Chun! Come in and take a Trial Class and you will not be disappointed!

I should have been learning but I am happy to be able to experience the challenges of a Jeet Kune Do warrior in which I am striving to be come on out and let's get baptized in battle together

Rob is very thorough instructor. He does a great job of tailoring his instruction for each of his students level. He makes the environment fun and challenging on all levels, which makes me want to continue to attend all of his future sessions!
