    Campground restrooms and showers were clean. One water spigot shared by two campsites. (Bring a y-splitter if you plan to hook up.) Dump station easily accessible. Staff fairly helpful. Several walk-nmaintained walking and hiking trails. Beautiful views.

    It's the largest park by far near Chesapeake, Virginia. It offers overnight camping, canoe rentals and several hiking trails. On nice sunny days the place can be relatively crowded but on overcast days it's really nice and empty. Watch out for snakes according to the season and some hiking trails get quite muddy after heavy rains. Even though this isn't Montana wilderness, bring water and basic first aid. Be respectful and don't litter or I will cut your tires.

    The park and trails are rustic. You can rent or bring your own kayaks. Horse trails and fishing all over the park. Rangers patrol regularly. Love the park.

    Rent a canoe for an hour... good outdoor time.
