Awesome work and very friendly to new car enthusiasts loves what he does and does a fantastic job at it!! Would recommend
This place is gods gift to 6.0’s. I was down bad with some issues that I couldn’t do myself in the ole driveway. PP&R got my truck in fast, communicated with me the whole time and advised me on what needed fixing. Not once did they try and upsale me or push parts or repairs. They gave me A QUALITY PRICE and the process was straightforward. I will absolutely be taking my rig back there in the near future for continued maintenance and work. Highly recommend if you’re in the VA Beach/Chesapeake area.
I feel bad that I didn’t write something sooner because these guys went above and beyond for me and my wife we brought her truck in last fall for some minor engine repair because we had a trip to Minnesota with it they said they would squeeze it in but didn’t have much time to work on it after talking to them about some additional work (performance work) they went ahead and did everything and got it done on time for my trip which I literally left from there and drove halfway across the country and the truck performed beautifully I highly recommend them they’re great guys and reasonable with the rates Can’t wait to get back to them to have additional work done
Not one to sit down on my phone and write reviews, but these guys deserved one. Had my fiancé drop off my truck while I was on deployment for some work I knew it needed. They found a few other deficiencies and notified me and asked if I wanted to fix them. I had them repair everything they found wrong. Got home from deployment and the truck was driving like a dream. Noticed a few oil drops on my driveway a few weeks after getting home and tracked it back to one of the injectors. Took it back to this awesome shop and they had me fixed on a short deadline so I could make a camping trip we had planned. A few days later my turbo went out (unrelated repair), called them up again and they had my truck fixed and back in my hands within a few days. Did I spend a decent amount of money? Yes. Everyone who wants to own a diesel should be prepared for big shop bills when something breaks, but if you take it to these guys for repairs and take care of your investment, it’ll last awhile. The tech (I believe his name was joe) was super thorough in explaining to me what was going on with my repair and the nature of my 2011 powerstroke and it’s components that have a higher fail tendency. He even showed me the old parts he ripped off and where they were failing at. He also took time out of his day on a Saturday when they are usually closed to help diagnose my faulty turbo. Honestly can’t say enough good things about these guys. I didn’t read previous reviews but I’m assuming if someone wrote a bad review it’s because they couldn’t afford the upkeep and the hard truth. As long as I live in Virginia Beach this will be where my truck gets worked on and serviced.
Best Decision you can make!!! I researched shops for over 14 months before I chose PP&R. I decided to make a major investment in my 2008 F450 6.4 PSD. Joe was exceptionally patient with my questions. He took the time to walk me through everything I was considering which helped me finalize my plans and budget. Joe's communication with me during the work was EXCELLENT, thorough and very responsive. There were no bad surprizes with Joe. Lots of folks will tell you not to put money into a 6.4 PSD. Those folks have not met this Master Mechanic. Joe and Chris have earned my business and loyalty. Let Joe heal what ford couldn't get right. Great work team PP&R!
