“Southeastern Therapy for Kids off of Taylor Rd in Chesapeake is an amazing office for therapy! I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a caring, professional, and hard working setting for their child to receive care. We have Nichole for Physical Therapy, Chelsea for Occupational Therapy and Meghan for Speech. Each of his therapists have implemented previous goals from another facility flawlessly as well as noticed additional areas to support for my son. Each therapist is innovative in her area of concentration and committed to helping my son get to where he wants and needs to be developmentally. Meghan is also the clinic director and I have had zero problems with rescheduling when needed and if his therapist isn’t available then he is seen by someone else and the continuity of care is incredible. Shout out to Ms. Denise at the front desk, she’s not only a sweet person but works hard to help with scheduling and management of copayments. I’ll also note that we are a military family and use Tricare Select for our insurance and have not had any problems. We also have been to 5 facilities over the past 4 years and this has by far been the best! Thank you Southeastern4Kids!”

“JUST DO IT!!! TL; DR: Southeastern Physical Therapy is a great place for your physical therapy needs. I needed a sports medicine type therapist and found a great one in Dr. Heather Yatsko (Ferry). From the staff at the front desk to the PT staff you work with, they are all fantastic. They offered me a more flexible payment schedule if I needed, and more importantly, to me, they took their time to work with you (me about 2 hours) unlike other in-and-out (about an hour) PT offices. As stated above, I think SPT is great, but here’s a little backstory leading up to arriving here for my recovery. I injured my shoulder last year (2019) in September, and went to a different physical therapy business that didn't suit my needs. I went for about 1.5 - 2 months before getting an MRI. The results showed micro tearing in my shoulder and led me to try a STEM cell injection instead of surgery as part of my recovery. From there I took it easy as instructed and waited about 6 months before seeking another therapist. Being fairly active I searched for a therapist that had sports medicine therapy skills, and Dr. Heather Yatsko (Ferry) fit the bill. This is where the review really starts. I went to my first appointment for an evaluation of my shoulder and immediately knew this would be different than at my previous therapist. I met with Heather, who I think is the lead therapist and as well as director, and she asked about what happened, when it happened, took measurements, and even had me go through various movements (planks and such) to gauge my starting level. By the end of the evaluation she asked what my goals were and made note of them. I was impressed and felt like this would be a better experience. From that moment onward Heather developed a plan for me that incorporated not only more traditional movements and exercises that a majority of shoulder recovery patients would use, but she also incorporated more specialized movements tailored to my situation and goals. That was the coolest part of my recovery! Heather customized my recovery program. It's such a breath of fresh air to see a PT be passionate about her patients and their recovery. There were occasions where she made up some movements on the fly and told me about her searchings the night prior and wanting me to try them. I was always up for the challenge of trying new moves to better my chances of recovery. The best way to get this treatment though is to have open and honest communication with her and the other assistants and therapist. This part is pretty easy because everyone there is easy to talk to, get to know, and joke around with. They're great people. My favorite part of my recovery at SPT was that they didn't rush you in and out. When you're there, they let you take your time to get through your exercises. In my case I'd be there for about 2 hours. That's longer than any other business I've been to prior. They truly care about you getting better and in order to do so they let you work through your program. Overall, Heather is FANTASTIC to work with because she cares! You can see that in her work ethic while you're there. She wears many hats while at SPT, but she makes the effort for everyone. She's a valuable asset to SPT and especially to any patient who has the chance to work with her. Because of her attitude and work ethic I saw it trickle down to the other employees and ended up having a great experience with everyone there. If you've made it through this long winded review then you're taking your search seriously and wanting quality care. I promise you that you will get it here at SPT with Heather and her co-workers.”

“We absolutely love our KinderCare family! Each classroom has age-appropriate and individualized learning initiatives; I can say first-hand that my children’s development has soared under the KinderCare leadership! Since COVID, we have been extremely impressed by the health and safety initiatives set forth — daily temperature checks, daily health screening questionnaires, hygiene protocols such as hand washing, increased cleaning, no unnecessary personnel in the building, etc. I have felt very comfortable sending my children during this pandemic. I can’t recommend KinderCare enough!”
