“This is a spiritual chruch. They teach straight from Bible. Sometimes God gives pastor Woody a sermon for that Sunday. But God moves through him and has him rewire his sermon. “My husband and I have been attending Sonlight for 6 years now. Everyone is family, even visitors. When we first started attending we were actively seeking a church. This was the 2nd one we visited and within the first 10 minutes we knew we had found our church home! We were treated as if we had always been there, and were made to feel very welcome. We also loved that the pastor taught directly from the Bible and everyone was encouraged to read along. Fast forward 6 years, the Bible is still being taught, we are encouraged to read scripture for ourselves and not take anyone else’s word for it. We have been so blessed by our church family! “My wife and I have been a member of the Tidewater Church Of Christ for many years. The congreation is very close to one another and treat each other like family. The Elders are well organized and are doing a great job. If you are interested in worshiping at a congregation that strives to practice only what the Bible teaches this is the one. There are classes for all age groups. Bible classes on Sunday start at 10 AM with Worship services at 11 AM and 6 PM. There are also Bible study classes on Wednesday for every age starting at 7 PM.
