“I am what is commonly referred to as advanced maternal age starting all over at 42. I had a horrific experience at Johnston Willis in which the Doctor told me that he has 2 patients that are my age, pregnant with children with Down syndrome. He also told me I should contact planned parenthood and look into Terminating. I was completely heartbroken with that experience when searching for a new OBGYN I learned of Dr. Linda Brown as she was the doctor on call at Chippenham when my friend delivered by emergency c-section. Dr. Brown was in complete shock when I shared my experience at Johnston Willis. She apologize for that doctors behavior and assured me things would be a lot different here and they were. She is tremendously passionate for what she does. Dr. Brown informed me of the associated risk of my pregnancy, coordinated appointments at UVA where I completed all my genetic testing. And I am please to announced I have a healthy baby girl due May 8. Dr. Linda Brown made me feel comfortable and informed from day one. She has a great attitude she’s personable, friendly and that’s why I’m giving her 5 stars.”
