Great customer service and friendly people. Sedation for my husband who doesn't do well with dentists. Just the location is kinda small, and the Plaza is sketchy.
I went here for the first time and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and respectful. I was able to walk in and immediately got called to the back. They did a very thorough job on my teeth and took their time. Dr. Friend was very kind taught me a lot about my teeth. Overall the experience was awesome and I would recommend Dr. Friend to anyone.
I was referred to this dental office from another dental office location and I have only great things to say about Friend Family Dental. As soon as I walked in the atmosphere was positive. Pain management is a big thing and they know what it is, as I was continually asked how my pain was. Very informative and very thorough. If I were to stay in the area longer they would definitely be gaining a long term patient.
Hands down best experience I have ever had at the dentist. The facility was top of the line all the way around. The staff there is wonderful and really know how to make you feel like family. Dr. Friend has gained himself a customer for life! Thank you everyone!
This was absolutely the best dentist our family ever had. Going to the dentist caused anxiety until I started treating with him. Even my youngest child who was 8 years old at the time was excited about going to his office. She’s 22 now. Dr. Friend never rushed and was truly focused on our dental needs. During one of my routine exams he found an ossifying fibroma. I had never noticed it until he pointed it out. He referred me to one of the best specialists in VA and was adamant this was the ONLY Oral Surgeon I would see, no other options. The treatment resulted in a bone graft and loss of several teeth but the specialist was the best and the fibroma didn’t grow back. Shortly thereafter, we moved out of the State. Dr. Friend set the standard for what we/I should expect from our dentist. Unfortunately, we haven’t found one that meets the standards he set, and all are judged by our experience with him. It’s been 13 or 14 years, those missing teeth were never replaced and I go from one random dentist to the next. This sounds like a “Lifetime” movie but every word is true. Anyway, I was talking to my 22 year old the other day and she brought him up while we were discussing some dental work she needed done. She wondered if Dr. Friend was still in the same place and if that little dog was still there. We both agreed the dog was probably gone but if we could, we’d take the time and expense of commuting to VA, just to have him as our dentist again. I got curious myself and decided to check GOOGLE. He’s still there, same office and that’s how this lengthy review started...I call it my walk down dentistry’s memory lane. Thank you Dr. Friend for making it nearly impossible for me to commit to one dentist. If I ever make it back to VA, I’ll be the lady with the shifting teeth, sleeping outside your office door, waiting for you to open.
