Chris was so vital in our birth journey. Not only was it my first pregnancy, but it was with twins! We went with her full package, which was worth every penny. One reason my husband and I went with her was because as an active duty Marine family, Chris also was a Marine wife so she was able to connect with us on that level which we really appreciated.
The prenatal sessions provided one-on-one time with both my husband and I to dig into the areas we really wanted to learn about and focus our time on. Leading up to the birth she was in constant communication with my husband and I, and then there at the hospital ready to get us through. I was thankful to have the twins vaginally, but during that process she was the game changer in the delivery room giving queues to my husband on what I needed, and then being my coach and encourager in my ear when my husband had to step away to do skin on skin after our first came out. Without that kind of support in the delivery room, my husband and I agreed that he would have been lost in the swarm of 15+ people in the room. He had the confidence to do whatever I needed and I had the peace of mind that Chris had him and my family that was there informed and taken care of.
With the full doula package it includes a 4 hour time slot of her coming and really helping however needed. COVID lock down hit literally the day after we got discharged, and Chris was great about communicating restrictions. When it was safer, which was around 4 months later, she still came out and gave us a nice afternoon out while she watched the twins.
We are so thankful to have found Chris and hold her in the highest regard!
We found Chris after we had a rough experience at a hospital at 24 weeks. We realized we needed somebody to help us navigate the hospital, ask the right questions, and advocate for what we wanted. We were thrilled to find Chris to be our birth doula. She has a such a calm and sweet demeanor. She was knowledgeable and asked the right questions. We knew we were in good hands.
I had planned to have an all-natural birth at the hospital. Our plans went a little sideways. We ended up needing to be induced. And then my husband came down with the flu and couldn’t be in the hospital with us. From induction to delivery was 71 hours. It was a long process filled with multiple procedures. Chris helped us each step of the way. Whether she was supporting us initially via phone or as the labor progressed in person- she helped us make decisions and stay on course. Although I did not have the birth I planned for – I had the right birth for me and my baby. I would not have been able to do it without the support.
If and when we decide to expand our family- Chris will be the first person we call!
Chris is a very friendly individual who willing to listen and embrace others’ needs and wants. With a deep level of knowledge and diverse experiences, she is one of the most dedicated doula I’ve ever known. Chris is always the first I think of whenever anyone in need of professional advices on childbirth and postpartum cares.
Chris is extremely knowledgeable about all things birth and postpartum care. She is very warm and trustworthy, and she came highly recommended to me by multiple people!!
Chris is such a sweet & personable person! She is a very helpful & knowledgeable Doula. Though I moved before my baby was born & she wasn’t able to be my doula during/after delivery, she was always available to answer my questions & easy my concerns during my pregnancy. Highly recommend her!!!!
