PITT OHIO

Very well organize, and still helps the independent shoppers.

My fiancé and I had a delivery today from Pitt Ohio. It contained several boxes of some fairly heavy furniture. We live down a pretty narrow dead end road. Additionally, my fiancé and I each had surgery recently (him for carpal tunnel and a C-section myself), so we were not able to help a lot with the delivery and needed it on the porch due to the threat of storms. Due to the nature of our driveway and road, Alonzo had to park at the end of the driveway. He and my fiancé (with very limited capacity to help) got the pallet jack up the driveway and Alonzo unloaded all of the heavy items basically on his own. He even made sure it was all on the porch so that we had time to work out getting it inside in case of bad weather. He also was able to turn a fairly large truck around on a narrow road and make it back out. I have seen many, many trucks that are smaller than his have to back out of the entire road, unable to turn around.

Pitt Ohio (Alonzo) did not have to help. As a matter of fact, I know most delivery personnel probably would have made a big deal of it, or even refused delivery at the time, due to circumstances. He just said, “it’ll all be ok. We aren’t going to make a big deal of this. We will get it done.” We appreciate Pitt Ohio and we surely appreciate Alonzo.
