Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant

This has been my go-to Chinese takeout joint in Petersburg for over ten years now. They've been a consistently reliable source of quality Cantonese cuisine and I've always found the prices and portions to be more than fair.

Their commitment to customer service is evident. When a minor mistake was made with one of our Sweet and Sour orders, they called and made us aware of it before we even noticed.

The cash-only policy can be a bit inconvenient at times and may catch some off guard. It's also a major bummer that they had to ditch their lunch buffet. But, the REAL bummer is Covid-19, which they take very seriously, and have to commend them on that.

My favorite dish is their Bourbon Chicken. It's glossy 'n' saucy and is rich with incredible flavor. Highly recommended!

The food was great. Really enjoyed it.

I've always have enjoyed my meals from HKC. The meals are always fresh tasting and hot. The last meal from there was not so great. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein and the sauce was tasteless and way to thick, all Corn Starch. I hope this is not going to be the new normal there
