Essex County Museum and Historical society is hosting a book discussion: Braving the Wartime Seas. at the Museum located at 218 Water Lane in Tappahannock. Tom Schroeder of Dunnsville, Virginia will discuss his involvement in the book. This book is a tribute to the Cadets and Graduates of the U. S. Merchant Marine Academy who died in World War II.
