One of Fairfax’s hidden gems. Tucked away in a side street of the main shopping plaza.
Cleanliness: Great!
- Everything is always clean and maintained well. The seats and tables have not been dirty the times I have visited now.
Seating: Limited :0
- The seating can be very sparse near lunch and dinner time. A decent amount of people come here to work/study during the day. If your party is larger then 2 you may have to wait around a bit.
Food: Good
- Pastries and other delicacies can be enjoyed here. The coffee is priced similarly to Starbucks, a bit cheaper to be honest. I have had the sausage roll the past few times I have visited and it has hit every time.
Overall: 5/5
- Quiet and clean place to unwind. I would recommend. I wish the chairs were comfier but then it would be harder to get seating. It’s kinda bright in there is the only con I can think of - aside from the limited seating.
Great coffee shop. Despite the fact that it’s hard to find, it seems to have many customers. There are plenty of outlets for laptops and phone chargers. We didn’t try the baked goods but they looked good. The iced latte was very good
What a perfect spot! The cafe is cute and clean, service is quite fast, and there is plenty of seating. The coffee is delicious but the real star to me is the strawberry cake. I can not emphasize enough how amazing the strawberry cake is. It is fresh, moist, and perfectly sweet. It puts me in mind of walking through a strawberry field on a beautiful Summer day, and is nothing like that terrible overly sweet artificial flavoring. I will certainly come back, even if it's just for a slice of cake.
Good coffee! Cute design inside, can definitely tell they roast in house. Not an overtly warm customer welcome nor an ample amount of seating in a shop near a college campus. Not a student but was looking to sit and enjoy a coffee after work and no seating was available around 5pm. Actually asked for my coffee “for here” and they put it in a to-go cup (not sure if they misheard me and I’m sure if I asked for a real cup they would’ve). I’m not going to rate 1 star over being annoyed about this but just letting others know at first visit this place did not seem like a reliable coffee shop in terms of sitting down with a large coffee where customers are greeted with warm welcome but it is a good cup of coffee and their pastries looked delicious.
Might just be the best coffee in Fairfax. Everything about this place is quality. The coffee is well roasted and tastes delicious, not burnt or stale. Their pastries are equally as good. I'm not sure if they are baked in house but they look like they are. Even the ambiance of the coffee shop is great. It has a very minimalist, industrial look while still feeling inviting and warm. I believe it used to be a warehouse space which lends to that aesthetic. This place is super clean and still remains somewhat of a secret due to its location on the back of the shopping center. If you are popping in to grab freshly roasted beans or staying for awhile to knock out some work this place will not disappoint.
