Children's Medical Associates of Northern Virginia

We’re always able to be seen for same day sick appointments (7 days a week, which is great since my kids almost exclusively get sick on weekends and holidays), and we’ve had great experiences with several of the doctors and NPs as well as the nurses. Dr. Gill is who we see most frequently, and my kids love her, but we have had visits with many other great providers as well! The office staff is always friendly and helpful, too. We love this practice!

First time at the Alexandria office, Dr. Estabrook and her nurse were lovely and professional. My two year old loved them and we are happy she is her pediatrician.

While checking out however, the receptionist was a little rude when I asked for a link to the patient portal as we are new to the practice. She stated I should have received a link (which I did not) and whilst I was attempting to ask whether it was a link sent via text or to my email (I later checked both and didn’t see a link in either) she got up in an annoyed state while saying “it’s fine Nevermind I’ll just give u a form, here “- may have been a bad day for her but it would have been nice to end our awesome experience with The Dr with a good checkout experience as well!

We switched from another pediatrician to CMA. We really enjoyed our Dr at the other practice but with their new phone service or lack there of, we couldn't ever reach anyone on the phone, no voice mails or online messages through their portal were returned. So when we received a recommendation for CMA from a doctor at INOVA Fairfax and my OBGYN we switched practices. CMA was welcoming, responsive and in a pinch helped to accommodate us which we greatly appreciate.

My 19 month daughter was sick all through the night, I called CMA and got an appointment for that morning at 10:45 AM. It was so convenient considering we had a flight to catch the next morning. She was diagnosed with a severe ear infection and RSV. Doctor Gill was amazing and personally called us with the results to answer any questions we had. She really took the time to listen and respond to our concerns. I’m SO grateful to CMA. I always feel like my baby is well cared for.

We are happy with CMA so far, a couple of days ago my son was sick and they immediately made an appointment for us on same day. Very kind doctors so far and very efficient. I am glad we found them.
