Dr Shah and PA Mul are both very thorough and personable. Both made me feel that they care about my well-being. PA Mul took the time to explain in plain language how the kidneys work. I appreciate and recommend this team.

Metropolitan Nephrology has taken great care of me since around 1996 when I lived in Alexandria. I’ve moved since then and at one point tried finding a local nephrologist, but after cycling through several doctors at different practices over the course of a year, I figured out I’d rather make the 1 hour drive to Metropolitan Nephrology for the highest quality care than deal with the others.
Dr. Pearlman provides excellent care. He takes the time to review my lab results, answer my questions, and provides expert guidance.
If you need kidney care, you need Metropolitan Nephrology.

Dr Pearlman is a great medical experience. He listens and interprets realistically. His method of prescribed treatment puts you at ease and he Insures that you are well versed on your treatment.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Perlman for a few years and he is the best. He stays on schedule and his staff is excellent as well. Dr Perlman has a great bed-side manner, kind, and very knowledgeable. He explains things very well. Great doctor and staff!

My visit with Eline Mul at Metropolitan Nephrology Associates was exactly what I had hoped for. We went over my lab results and discussed not only the results for this time, but how they were trending. We went through my medications and recommended adjusting one of them because it has more preventative properties than another. Then if we see the hoped for results, we can reduce the other medication. She is personable, funny, and infinitely relatable. I have moved two hours out of the area and was planning to change nephrologist care, but with telemedicine available, I am now rethinking my choice. Five stars for Eline and all of MNA.
