Great Firm. Paul and his team worked hard to get a great settlement for us. We recommend Paul for Small business help and with personal business.
My husband and I have been planning to establish a special needs trust for the past year and our experience with Family Law firms had been less than ideal. In two cases, we had to ask twice to meet with an attorney, and then were contacted by an assistant and reminded of the fee for the consultation which had to be paid before meeting with anyone. "bring your check book" one said. Really? We simply wanted to know an estimate for costs to set up a special needs trust so we could decide whether to go with an attorney or a managed fund from the ARC. But we had to pay for that information. It felt very transactional and impersonal. But then, a friend referred us to Paul Dean and he was exactly the type of professional we were looking for: genuine, knowledgeable, and empathetic. He met us personally with no mention of payment until after he had spent an hour educating us on trusts and offering unpressured advice. I had to mention payment at the end of the consultation and he waved his hand saying, I will add it to a proposal. No pressure, just an authentic desire to serve our family. A great dad, neighbor, and business professional! I have since recommended him multiple times to friends and colleagues. If you are looking for personal and trusted legal counsel, the Dean Law Firm should be your first phone call.
We worked with Paul recently to prepare estate planning documents. We originally thought this would be a daunting process but Paul walked us through the entire process and explained everything thoroughly. He made the process simple. Many steps were done electronically which helped us save time. If you are on the fence about putting together your estate planning package, don't hesitate! It's important to put in place and Paul can help you.
There is nothing more difficult than having THAT conversation that nobody wants to have - but we know we all need to - our eventual demise and our will/taking care of our family. I highly recommend Paul Dean, a very knowledgeable lawyer who combines just the right degree of legal expertise, professionalism, humanity , compassion and engagement into very personal family matters to make us all feel like we are well prepared for the future. Paul is a person of extreme high integrity and our children have grown up together. I would recommend him without a doubt to anyone looking for a great attorney for will planning and advance medical directives. Thank you Paul for making this thing we have put off for years much more manageable.
We had been putting off getting our will done for a very long time but with our kids reaching college age, we finally decided the task could wait no longer.
Not really knowing where to start, we reached out to Paul who arranged for the three of us to sit down informally and chat through the process. Paul was very easy to talk to, put us at ease despite our never having done this before, and he gave us common sense advice about our options.
After taking notes during the chat, Paul drew up the paperwork and we had a follow up meeting to sign the papers. Very painless and our peace of mind having finally accomplished this necessary part of adulthood made this a very worthwhile process.
Paul was well-prepared, sensitive and professional throughout, and we give him our strongest possible endorsement.
