Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar

To update. When we went this time the service was slow, we had to ask for silverware and napkins. Usually it's a wonderful dinning experience that's good for a family or a date. Then Lazy Dog at Fair Oaks Mall is a must try restaurant. We had (in my opinion) the best service. The food was on point. When you go you HAVE to have the PB&J burger, yes peanut butter and jelly burger, it is the best. You would think, what is this burger, but it is definitely a bucket list item. Ask to sit in Tom's section for a waiter with a good personality, who is professional, and provides excellent service. We also had the fish and chips, a pot roast sandwich with dipping sauce, chicken lettuce wraps, topping it off with pineapple upside-down cake. Now for drinks, you have to try the drinks they mix there. All in all a wonderful dining experience. The ambience is that of a lodge, there is a fireplace and a fire pit. Last finished it up with the best cup of coffee I've had in a while. Really go you won't be disappointed.

This was a gathering for a retirement event. It was a chance for current and previous co-workers to get together and celebrate the accomplishments of the person retiring.
Wait staff was very accommodating! AJ was helpful in getting folks escorted to the proper location. Natalie did a fantastic job ..... as always. Big smile, huge heart, professional and accommodating! Love it when she is available to us.

I haven’t written a review in awhile, but I had to in this case.
The Management and staff at this restaurant are amazing. We arrived the and we’re told it would be about a 5 minute wait. I wondered because half the restaurant was empty. Then I found out they were getting two buses of teenagers in.
I had a party of three and my Service Dog.
My friends asked me if we should leave, I said I’ll ask.
So I asked the Manager Mr. Christopher Seymour, ( know his name because after dinner lunch, I asked for his card) he said “ don’t worry we have this, we’re good at what we do”.
I really do not know if I could say they were good at what they do. It would greatly under-rate the performance that I witnessed.

Mr Seymour and his staff were like a very well oiled machine.

I did not see any customer waiting for anything. He and his staff were on the ball the whole time. They all took care of everything. If one passed by and seen that you might need something they asked if you did. It did not matter if you were their table or not.

Mr Seymour checked on our table at least three times. I also seen him checking other tables.
Like I always tell people
“ a true leader leads by example and works with his people, not over his people. Train the correct way, then you only have to give direction and guidance.”

I congratulate Mr Seymour on a job really well done.
I had a wonderful experience.
Lazy Dog is very lucky to have him.

It is also a tire dog friendly restaurant. They have a great outside patio for pets, Service Dogs are welcome inside or out.
They also have a dog menu.

Now I have to stop at other Lazy Dog’s to see if they are as good😂😂😂

We love Lazy Dog, we have been to both Chantilly and Fair Oaks locations and left with a happy tummy each time! We love the patio! Their online reservation system helps a lot! We never waited longer than 10 minutes to be seated after arriving at our reservation time. Cheese curds, burgers, tacos etc. all taste freshly made! Priced right! I only wish they served the shrimp tacos for dinner, too. The rice and the beans they serve with the tacos are the most delicious I’ve had in a restaurant.
Finally, all servers are polite, friendly and they work hard! I keep recommending Lazy Dog to everyone I know!

Loved it. Went with hubby, son and his girl. The food was fantastic. Nice to get out and put a little weekend in the week. My son suggested this place, he's always finding good restaurants. Hubby got bacon wrapped meatloaf that was good. Shrimp tacos was heavenly as well. Try it u will love it too.
