Beautiful little spot to enjoy fall foliage. You can access the hiking trails along the Potomac. There are cannons from the Civil War and markers explaining their importance.
There's a great walk from just across Chain Bridge up Pimmit Run to Ft. Marcy that requires crossing the stream on rocks. Little over a mile. Very cool!
Brings back fond memories of me and my dog RAJAH who used to love it when we went there and spent time in the woods there.
The park is in need of some maintenance to make it a place you could spend some time with your family. Good place to park and access DC trail network though.
