I was very resistant to getting hearing aids, in part because I tried a few years ago and was so dissatisfied that I returned them. But as my hearing declined I knew I needed to try again. Brian at Hulls is an expert and helped me choose the right option for my particular issues. He taught me and guided me to the perfect solution. I hardly know I am using a device! I am delighted and so is my hubby! A major source of frustration is gone and I can hear clearly now! Thank you for your expertise and support.
I've used them for three years after comparing their ratings, prices, and warranties with other providers. They were not only very highly rated on Consumer Checkbook, but their prices turned out to be better. They provide old-fashioned service focusing on their customers and I would not use anyone else at this point. A great, family-owned company.
Update 6-3-22: This is not only an excellent company as far as products and services, but they have the highest honesty and integrity. I saw Brent when one of my 6-year old hearing aids started beeping loudly. I assumed it was time for a new pair. However, Brent took it apart and and advised me he believed it just needed a cleaning. Now it's working fine again. They did not charge me -- just said it's part of the service. Truly fine family-owned business.
Professionalism, integrity and heart-these are the words to describe Hull Hearing.
My Mom was a client of Hull Hearing for at least 20 years and not once in those years did she ever pay for a repair or adjustment to her hearing aids. Mom was always treated with love and respect.
At the age of 97, Mom went into a nursing home. Brent traveled 30 minutes to the nursing home, twice, to fit Mom with a new hearing aid. In my opinion, this was an act of supreme kindness.
I would highly commend Hull Hearing. Our lives were blessed by their thoughtfulness and skill.
Excellent service. First time visit. Friendly family owned business. Knowledgeable staff. Testing was free. Shared test results and at this time don't need hearing aids, but plan to get tested there annually and will take advantage of their skills when they make recommendations for particular products. No high pressure sales. So glad I found them. Had been tested once before at COSTCO and staff there was knowledgeable but store too noisy for a good test.
This is the absolute best place to go for hearing aid care! Usually dealing with hearing aids feels like a chore, but I actually loved my visit to Hull Hearing and I’m looking forward to going back.
Brent made me feel like the most important client in the world. He spent an a ton of time with me—he gave me all kinds of details about how my hearing aids work and what they can do, explained my audiograms, and really, really listened to all of my concerns and questions. Over the years I’ve seen many different hearing aid specialists, audiologists, etc but this was the first time I felt like someone wasn’t just looking at my test numbers and hearing aid settings; Brent genuinely cared about ensuring that I was *happy* with my hearing. And now I am!
It’s wonderful to hear the world more clearly, and to be able to experience new sounds. I’d been missing that for a while, but I put off seeing a hearing aid specialist because I had a disappointing time with one in D.C., and because I figured they’d look at my old-ish hearing aids and try to sell me a newer, fancier model. Brent did the opposite of that! He told me that my current hearing aids still have life in them, and he reassured me that he could make them function the way I wanted them to. It’s funny, though… before I went to Hull, I was dreading the day my current hearing aids would have to be replaced. But now that I know where to go, I’m sort of looking forward to seeing just how great my hearing can be!
