Guapo’s Taqueria & Charcoal Chicken

Guapos is fantastic. They have a great expansive menu, delicious food, and friendly workers. I could probably eat there every day of the week. Make sure you get some of their special sauce when you go! It is delicious. If you haven't been to a Guapos yet you need to go. And don't sleep on the sides! The plantains are great.

Great clean fresh food. not greasy. Nice cozy settings with chicken roasting in the oven.

The seasoning on the tacos is great. The $3 per taco is average price. For someone with a healthy appetite the half chicken with rice and beans should suffice. The rotary chicken has a delicious crispy skin but it's still moist and well cooked. Plantains are cooked just right and don't forget the flan and tres leches cake, they are not ridiculously sweet as you will find them in other places. To drink the maracuyá (passion fruit) and orchestra are both refreshing and delicious.

As soon as you walk in you are surrounded by great music and delicious aromas. Staff was patient and nice while we made selections (chicken sandwich, yucca, 1/4 chicken (dark meat), rice and beans and fries). Food was brought to our table and was so good and satisfying, especially with the various sauces. The rice and beans were a bit bland but not enough to deduct a star. I also want to call out that my date left his cellphone behind. It took us a few hours to realize he didn't have it. Guapo staff had it and answered when we called it trying to find it. They held the phone for us until we were able to get back there. It was a small thing that was really a huge thing. We're very grateful! Between the great food and the kind staff, we'll definitely be back!

The only thing better than being consistent, is being consistently good. Good selection, good surroundings, good staff and good food. Consistent.
