(August 22, 2018, 11:43 am)The Goldfish Swim School in Reston is amazing! I love the small classes and the individual attention my daughters get when they are in their lessons. My kids were a little fearful of the water before attending this school... now they LOVE the water and can't get enough of it.
(August 19, 2018, 11:16 am)This place is great. Disregard previous comments about “not learning” anything. Class sizes are small and teachers are attentive. Signed up both kids for jump start programs. My 3yo went from barely swimming to being able to go underwater and swim a few feet.. without floaties. My 6yo has had previous lessons but the thing that struck me most was his previous lessons never taught him to float on his back after swimming prone for a few feet - this is essential for drowning prevention!! Sure, it is a little pricey - but you get what you pay for and what I paid for has been worth it. I’ve observed swim lessons at other fitness centers locally, before the deciding on Goldfish, and I have to say Goldfish is better.
(August 18, 2018, 1:45 pm)This place is fantastic! The summer jump start program helped my 5 year old go from not knowing how to swim to swimming freestyle, backstroke, and treading water in 3 weeks. It was amazingQ
(February 25, 2018, 1:08 pm)Update: been going for a while now and can not recommend enough. Great Staff, great facility, the only real issue time to time is dealing with the other parents, but I am sure they think the same.
Original: Signed up for our 15 month old to start getting comfortable in water and learn some skills. He has been going for about 2 months now and has developed some impressive skills. Able to go under water some, and seems to be more comfortable. Facilities are good, and staff is amazing.
