We got our golden doodle groomed here. The service is exceptional.
Our groomer was Grace and she took great care of our pup. The cut was exactly what we were looking for.

Grace is fantastic! I love bringing my new puppy to Dogma, as I care about supporting mom and pop shops. The quality of services, the personalized care and value is something you’ll find here. I am bringing my dog here monthly, it is worth it!

I am very particular when it comes to my million dollar dog. Only the best for her and I found the best in Grace at Dogma. I love that they don’t crate the dogs and only allow who’s being pampered to be in the store. The location is great. I can drop Sammie off then go hang out in the plaza while she’s there. Grace does a phenomenal job and is extremely detail oriented. We are so happy to have found her.

Grace is a wonderful groomer. Our Portie had an uneven haircut last time and Grace was able to make adjustments to make her look fantastic. Our dog is a little anxious but showed no signs of worry when we picked her up. Love this place!

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE!!!

I am a creature of habit. I've taken my pup to the same groomer for 8 years. However, it's been a hike and I've said for a while that I would find something closer. I've driven to Bethesda for grooming services for years. One of my neighbors reminded me about Dogma. Since I've gotten doggy cakes from them every year, trying their grooming services was a no brainer!

I made an appointment and was able to get in relatively quick. The delay was on my side because the pup was due for vaccinations. I gave my veterinarian's phone number and they call to confirm he is up to date prior to his appointment. I love that they confirm vaccinations before completing services. It assures me that my dog is not at risk when I drop him off. I spoke with Grace when I called and she was incredibly kind. She explained their set up and how they take one dog at a time. Basically, there are no dogs waiting around in kennels. I LOVE THIS IDEA. My pup is very timid and has crazy anxiety. He's really quiet, doesn't bark and likes to be held. He does much better in calmer, quieter settings. He's really a cat in a dog's body. But that's another story for another day! Lol...Grace explained that she would be with him from start to finish. She was the one shampooing and grooming. Again, love the idea.

Our appointment was today at 11am. We arrived about 10 minutes early. Upon arrival, Grace was finishing up with another dog and no sooner than we walked in, that dog lost focus trying to watch us. She kindly asked if I would mind stepping outside for like 2 minutes while she completed her. I love it!! Because I know she took the same care with my Paxton. We sat outside and she called me in within minutes. I filled out forms, provided documentation for his vaccinations and showed her previous pics of him with the cut I desired. Paxton is always so nervous when I take him to the groomer. He's usually shaking and clinging to me for dear life. Not today!! He sat in Grace's arms and looked at me like "why are you still here"? In about an hour and a half, she was calling me to tell me he was ready. It is by far the BEST hair cut he's received!!! She did a phenomenal job!! I am extremely pleased. She has a repeat customer in me!! Thank you so much for providing exceptional services and taking good care of my fur baby.
