Some people may think that all Real Estate Agents are the same. I thought the same thing until I was introduced to my Super Agent, Julie Brodie. I know that is a strong endorsement but let me explain how I came to that opinion.

I am both a homeowner and an investor who over the last 8 years Julie Brodie has been my Real Estate Agent for 5 properties in the Northern Virginia market. She has represented me both as a buyer and a seller and, with a few of the properties, over time, helped me as the buyer and the seller.

Julie brings a variety of assets as an Agent to any real estate transaction, supporting either the buyer or the seller, with her deep understanding and experience in the Northern Virginia market, her research and analysis of the neighborhood value comparables for any target property, her no nonsense “tell it like it is” communication style and her honesty and integrity.

Now some may say that there are Real Estate Agents who have some or all of these talents and capabilities but few have that extra special talent that I witnessed over the many transactions with Julie. What I am speaking to is that Julie is a master negotiator for either the buyer or the seller.

Whether Julie has represented me as either a buyer or a seller her ability to negotiate lower than list price on the buy side or list and market my properties on the high end of the market has been consistent across all the transactions over the years.

Julie years ago negotiated a property I purchased in the “high demand” Upper Park neighborhood of Fairfax below market price . The day after I bought it, I could have sold it for $25K higher. I rented that property through Julie’s company over a 5 year period and when she marketed and sold it for me, she was able to negotiate a sale substantially above any previous comparable sale for that neighborhood.

I am fortunate and thankful to have had Julie as my Real Estate Agent for all my buy and sell transactions over the years. Based on my experience and the results she has delivered for me, I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to call her a Super Agent.
