Abigail from Lily Pond was recommended to us by a friend as an agent to plan our honeymoon. We reached out to her with not much of an image of what our perfect trip looked like other than we wanted to go to the Caribbean for the first time. Abigail responded right away and after discussing preferences with us, she put together a few proposals based on our input and budget. We ended up staying at a beautiful little resort in Antigua that was perfect to us as it focused on the factors most important to us as travelers (food and scenery) while staying well within our budget. Planning aside, during the trip is when Abigail continued to shine. Abigail truly exemplified spirit of service as she navigated us through two nightmare travel days full of flight delays and cancellations. One of these was the day after our wedding when we were completely exhausted and brain-dead. Abigail was quick to find alternate flights, she gave us speaking points when we approached dismissive airline agents, and helped us understand what’s covered by travel insurance in the event that we need to rebook without airline reimbursement. All the while, she was hyper- responsive to texts and calls late into weekend hours to make sure we knew where we were going. Without her assurance and guidance these travel days would have been extremely stressful. I don’t want to ever travel internationally without her help ever again. We have planned two trips with McLean and plan to continue doing so! McLean always makes sure to hear our preferences and makes thoughtful plans which also consider our budget. The quality of the resort we stayed at was amazing and we will definitely be booking our next trip with McLean. I have used McLean for dozens of trips over the years and am so beyond grateful for her. About two weeks before my honeymoon that she planned a year in advance, our destination got hit by a massive hurricane. I really think I would have launched myself off the nearest bridge without her. Within an hour of her saying we should consider a new destination, she had ten replacement options in front of me, talked me through all of them, and gave me all the answers on what would be the closest to the honeymoon we booked.

She really knows her locations - has a great portfolio of hotels for you to choose from and has given me SO much value. She recently planned a trip around Ireland for my husband and I which was a life changing trip. What I thought I wanted and what she suggested absolutely came to life and it was a magical trip.
