(May 20, 2018, 1:57 pm)If your in the area, this is a must see sacred place. Many people think that Washington's tomb is in the US Capital Building. There is a marker in the Capital but the actual tomb and burial place is here at Mount Vernon. Washingtons will was very clear that he was to be buried here. Beautiful Historic and Inspiring.

(February 24, 2018, 8:04 pm)Stop by if you're visiting Mount Vernon. The tomb, built in accordance with the will of the President, was completed three decades after his death. He and his wife and some of their family members were initially buried at the Old Vault just a few meters away.
