Their soups and 7-layer dip fell short, and I wasn't very impressed with their pizzas, but every sandwich I've tried is a hit.”

“I LOVE their laundry services, fast and cheaper than everyone around and just within walking distance of the gym and the pool. The store is a general store, meant for convenient and general day to day needs. The choice is not comprehensive and not meant to be so. But the ease of the purchases of snacks, ice cream, soft drinks, wine, beer, prepackaged meals, pasta, cooking oil,... makes up for the moderate range of choice. At the end of the day, this is not Costco.”

“I went there looking for a Frye stud, I found it, but the sizes are a little bit strange, I am not sure if that is because it's real leather and they need time to break them. This kind of shoes is difficult to order online, I feel that you need to try them first. A girl helped me over there and she was very helpful. The shoes are special and very nice, the only thing is that they are slippery.”

“If you can just focus on your child's experience in the classroom, you will be happy here. Great teachers. Great administrators. This place would be great if they could just figure out everything that goes on OUTSIDE of the classrooms. Billing, lunches, facilities, front office staff, after school programs, field trips, classroom furniture and materials, security, book ordering--all a mess. They have lost two Heads of Schools when all they really need to lose in order to be productive and successful is their Head of Operations. She and her team are rude and unorganized. She often makes promises about facility updates that never end up happening. She has had no experience working in a school before this, so it should come as no surprise that she isn't capable of dealing with school-related issues. Although, school leadership experience clearly isn't important to BASIS, as the CEO is a former electrical engineer who knows absolutely nothing about education or working in schools. He only got the job because his aunt and uncle founded and own the company. If you've ever had the pleasure of hearing him speak, you'd quickly lose even more respect for the guy and the schools he is attempting to run. Despite the CEO and the Head of Operations both having no prior education-related work experiences, they are often the last resort for answers to questions..that they can't answer. So, if you care about all of that, this isn't the place for you. If you care about your child having great teachers and learning at a high level, come here. Hopefully the teachers and administrators don't get fed-up with all of the above and leave, because they're all that's keeping families.”
