“I would highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to train in the Tyson's area! I was only here for a few months due to my job, but I felt immediately welcome on the mats and the lunch classes were always bumping! I wish I had been able to spend more time here!”

“Freedom Hill is by far one of the best elementary schools I've experienced. My sister and brother both went to school here and it was a great experience for them. My daughter now attends freedom hill, she grows and learns everyday. Great teachers, a diverse program, overall great experience for a growing child. ”

“I wish I could give more than 5 stars. My son started here at 8 weeks and as a new mom geographically remote from family, not only did they provide excellent care, they patiently taught me things or gave me advice when they noticed I was struggling. Before we started, they also allowed us to visit unannounced so he could get used to the environment. I was welcomed any time, allowed to come and breastfeed if my schedule allowed, and in general, made to feel like I was a part of his day, not just dropping him off. In over a year, I have not once seen a staff member be surly or give the appearance of having a bad day. All the teachers I have meet are enthusiastic, greet every child as if he/she is special, and are patient beyond measure. I continue to refer to this place as 'school' when I drop my son off because I also feel they take their job of teaching the children seriously, even in the baby room. Every day, there is an activity that the children take part in and the youngest of babies are learning from the kids around them in a safe environment. In short, I count myself luck to have my child in a center as fulfilling and loving as this one. ”

“I went to school here in '92 when it was called Talent House. They had a pool back then where we would swim sometimes for recess. They also had a karate class. The teachers were top tear fun teachers. I don't remember any mean ones. Fond memories here. Really a great school if it's anything like it was in the '90's. If you have the money this is a much better place to teach and nurture your children than public school. Opinion: I was bullied a lot as a kid, here too. It made me feel subhuman and gave me low self-esteem. All schools have this problem. The teachers everywhere should keep a eye and ears on the children's interactions with one another to make sure they are always kind. Also parents, your children might be angels in your eyes but could be extremely mean to others behind your back. Teach your children to be kind to every living things. Love is the answer.”

“My daughter attended the school and had a positive experience for the most part. Like all schools, some teachers are better than others. Building is in good physical shape and grounds are well-cared for. The location is off the beaten track (unusual for FCPS schools) so it's a quiet environment.”

“A great place for my son to attend school. He has many friends, teaches are good, and academics is helping him. Esol class he enjoys and many kids who speak out mother tongue. The lunch is good, I visited for thanksgiving lunch, and it was good. They had gravy chicken, mashed potatoes , pumpkin ice cream , and juice. Great school westgate.”

“If you can just focus on your child's experience in the classroom, you will be happy here. Great teachers. Great administrators. This place would be great if they could just figure out everything that goes on OUTSIDE of the classrooms. Billing, lunches, facilities, front office staff, after school programs, field trips, classroom furniture and materials, security, book ordering--all a mess. They have lost two Heads of Schools when all they really need to lose in order to be productive and successful is their Head of Operations. She and her team are rude and unorganized. She often makes promises about facility updates that never end up happening. She has had no experience working in a school before this, so it should come as no surprise that she isn't capable of dealing with school-related issues. Although, school leadership experience clearly isn't important to BASIS, as the CEO is a former electrical engineer who knows absolutely nothing about education or working in schools. He only got the job because his aunt and uncle founded and own the company. If you've ever had the pleasure of hearing him speak, you'd quickly lose even more respect for the guy and the schools he is attempting to run. Despite the CEO and the Head of Operations both having no prior education-related work experiences, they are often the last resort for answers to questions..that they can't answer. So, if you care about all of that, this isn't the place for you. If you care about your child having great teachers and learning at a high level, come here. Hopefully the teachers and administrators don't get fed-up with all of the above and leave, because they're all that's keeping families.”

“My daughter and son both go to the palm tree school and what an amazing school it truly is. The teachers, staff and main office Focus so much on the children to ensure they become the best leaders with the best of manners as well as teaching them the sweetens of Islam. A school that I am very proud to have my own kids in. From the summer school program to the full time school and even the after school program have transformed my children to well manner and joyful kids to have. Mashallah!”
