“If you are looking for an affordable daycare, a safe place where your child will be loved and cared for, then look no further! I know that sounds like an ad, but honestly, this is a great place where your child will thrive. Miss Shelem will care for your child like he/she was her own. She has passion for children and how they are properly cared for and taught. This isn't just a place where they sit and watch TV or left unattended. This is a daycare with a daily curriculum where your child will learn so many wonderful things and stay active! Feel confident you are in the right place. This is the absolute best place to leave your child without worry.”

“I have attended Herndon High School for four years, and will be graduating next week. My experience with the school has been positive, for the most part. The teachers whom I have had have all been engaged and enthusiastic about the subject matter they teach, with one or two exceptions. The diversity of the school is amazing, in my opinion. The student body is not nearly as homogeneous as many surrounding schools, and this has contributed (in my sense, at least) to better understanding between students of different backgrounds. There are, never the less, a token number of ignorant assholes who insist on maintaining an insular existence within the confines of their peers (this applies to ALL races). The facilities are good overall, though the school structure (literally, the brick and mortar) is a bit shaky. The commitment to the arts is strong at the school; we have great band, orchestra, guitar, theater, and visual arts programs. Our athletics aren't very good at all, really. Many of the science teachers are not very good. I was lucky enough to get some of the better ones. The math faculty is great, though, again, there are a few bad apples. Overall, a good school.”

“Luanne did our ceremony for our Halloween wedding and my husband and I couldn’t be happier! She answered every question we had in the preparation process, made sure we had the ceremony we wanted, and guided us during the ceremony discreetly with things we didn’t exactly remember. Our guests loved her and complimented her all through the night!”

“I am Annie's daughter, and I've been watching the studio grow and grow since the day Annie got the idea to begin a studio. The teachers are patient, experienced, and kind, and I recommend this studio to everyone. I wished I could've clicked more than just five stars! Everyone should definitely take lessons, camps, groups, here. Virtually and physically, this place is awesome. Keep up the Good Work, ~ Abigail Matis (Abby), Daughter of Annie (The Owner of Potomac Music)”

“Lucas Rainbow was an amazing experience, we recently moved states or would have never left. The care and love Ms Flor and her entire staff provides is wonderful. They helped our boy in so many ways, and were able to create an environment our son loved. A couple months later and he still tells us he misses them, his best friends. Thank you all so much again, we will forever be grateful and miss you all! ♥️♥️”

“My highlights were a few months old (done at another salon) and they were turning brassy in color. I went in and asked if I could fix my hair color somehow without highlights. Neda helped me and suggested a toner. She sat with me at least 10 minutes showing me colors to figure out what I would like. Put the toner on and in less than 5 minutes my hair looked refreshed. Good to go for a couple of months.”

“I would like to say Thank you to Mr. Charlie for the help he gave me with my electric bill, He went out his way to make sure they received the payment and my service was restored in the same day. We need more honest volunteers like Charlie who are willing to go the extra mile for the people in need. God bless you Charlie and thank you so much I really appreciate the help.”

“I trained here from 2009 to 2011. Instructions included staff work, bicep takedowns, wristlocks, arm bars, throws, takedowns, ASP Batons, Taser use, weapons defenses and more. The classes also discussed legal and moral implications of the use of force, which is not taught at most martial arts schools. Contextual or situational training was also important. Safety was heavily emphasized, there was no hint ofMachismo, and the head instructor always encouraged his students to continue with their training. I trained with the current Sensei at that time and would highly recommend him as a Jujitsu instructor.”

“As a kid, I never thought much about the quality of education I received in USD 206. However, as I went to college and had no trouble keeping good grades and my classmate from other hometowns struggled, it made me consider how lucky I was to have had the kind of education Remington schools provided to me. My wife isn't a simple minded person, but she struggled in college. Wichita schools had not prepared her for post high school life and educations. To this day, I consider the majority of my teachers as friends and will have contact with them every so often. They not only remember me, but have interest in where my life has gone after leaving their care. My wife doesn't remember many of her teachers and none of the teachers in Wichita schools cared to remember her. Food for thought! I am very grateful to all of the wonderful people who have helped me to be who I am today! I am now a parent of two kids in USD 206, I chose to come home and give my kids the same quality education I received!”

“The four years I spent studying at the Eichhorn clarinet studio were some of the most rewarding and inspiring times in my journey with the clarinet so far. It is rare to find a teacher so dedicated, who is equipped to create a cohesive, well-defined path for improving musically and technically, and at the same time pass along love and passion of the craft to her students. When I began my clarinet studies with Claire Eichhorn, I was an enthusiastic student, but lacked any formal training. After setting some initial goals, we immediately began working on building a strong set of fundamental skills on the clarinet, which would later prove invaluable. As the difficulty of my exercises and repertoire grew, I found that my assignments were challenging enough to keep me engaged and pushing myself, and my objectives were always crystal clear. This helped me substantially in the process of learning how to practice, which is one of the most important skills you can learn in your journey with music. During my lessons, I was always greeted with patience, enthusiasm, professionalism, and respect. It was one of my favorite times of the week, and I fondly remember being excited to share my music and to be back in the studio. I actually still use many of the practice techniques and routines to this day, as a professional musician. After my time with Claire Eichhorn, I went on to Oberlin Conservatory and the Cleveland Institute of Music for Bachelor's and Master's degrees in clarinet performance. Throughout my time there, I always drew back to the basics that I had learned with Ms. Eichhorn, and was well served by having not only a strong base, but also a wide variety of music, etudes, and method books already under my belt. Whatever your goals in music may be, and whether you are a total beginner or have had training, studying the clarinet here is a wonderful, worthwhile, and lasting musical experience. I highly recommend studying with Claire Eichhorn at the Eichhorn Clarinet Studio!!”

“LANK was recommended to us by multiple families when we moved to the area. As an elementary school teacher myself, I was really careful about choosing the right preschool environment for my children. We visited numerous preschools but were really taken with the natural setting and open plan interior space. Our older 2 boys went for all three years of preschool and our youngest is currently in the 3 year old program. We have experienced most of the teachers and have been highly impressed with every single one. They are all nurturing in the perfect way for young children with strong knowledge in early childhood development, and promote great communication with families. The curriculum is play based, nature loving, and prepared my boys extremely well for kindergarten. The community is incredibly strong and my family has met friends for life through our children's friends here. LANK really is the highest level of preschool and we have been so happy with our experiences here.”
