(May 23, 2017, 12:43 pm)Just got back from a 80 mile round trip drive to Warrenton to have my 2004 Prius hybrid battery replaced. Ryan went out of his way to make sure that he could do it today (Friday) as I need the car to go to North Carolina on Monday. Price was good, car works and Ryan was a pleasure to deal with. He dropped me at Panera's where I was able to use their wifi and work while he repaired the car. He's one of the few people in the DC area (if you include Warrenton in the DC metropolitan area) who installs a Dorman reconditioned battery. These are rated as the best and have a three year warranty. Ryan also warranties his work, so I'm good to go.
Update from 2017: The Dorman battery failed after 2 years, but Ryan was able to navigate the warranty process and installed a new battery - no charge to us. I can't say enough about how great he is. And now that he has a shop, no more meeting at Panera. He also did the brakes while the car was there - $400 cheaper than the dealer.

(August 12, 2016, 2:26 pm)Kind of an echo chamber in here and for very good reason. Ryan is a highly skilled and personable mechanic. Always responds quickly to calls/emails and is overall very communicative. He quite clearly loves what he does and is very up front and honest. I am very pleased with my experience with him so far and will continue to drive over an hour to have him service my land cruiser. 400k here I come!
