Plenty of trails and lots of history! This is a perfect place to spend a day to hike, bike or jog! Beautiful area!!
Great walking jogging trails, safe good parking.
We could tell it was being really fixed up nice. Fences were new and brush trimmed back nice. There was a farmhouse being fixed up as we were there. I wish the maps showed where things were better, like the cannons that showed online. We walked the (mowed) trail for a mile and found nothing. We headed back as it was 99 degrees and muggy.
I walked through the battlefield areas and it was a decent park that ended near two schools. The trail was gravel and dirt in some areas. There was a long row of trees, that were very old. I saw a Eastern box turtle, I think the couple behind me took it. Lol
