Riverside Hospice took great care of my brother. Ms. June was his hospice nurse's aide. She was calm, loving, caring, and knowledgeable. Ms. June was dedicated to giving my brother top tier care. She had a warm spirit. It showed that she loved her job and her patients. We were blessed to have her as our brother's hospice nurse's aide.
The nurses, were also caring, understanding, kind, and knowledgeable. They listened and were compassionate. They were approachable and accessible as well.
Joel, the Bereavement Counselor, was compassionate and calming also. He was instrumental in helping us to understand all aspects of the transition process. He explained the grieving process and the affect it would have on the family in the future. We have received literature, as he promised, that has also helped the family heal without our beloved brother.
The Chaplin, was amazing as well. My brother loved God and spirituals and she was aware of that. On a visit, we walked into the room. She was praying for our brother and singing. Here voice was amazing.
A few weeks later, we called her to come on July 17, 2018 as he was transitioning. She talked, prayed, and walked our brother and the family through every stage of his transition. Her voice was so soothing, spiritual, and Godly. She made his transition one of the most amazing things I have every witnessed in my entire life.
Thank you, Riverside Hospice for caring for my brother as he transitioned.
