Good place for a day picnic... Nice trials and amazing beauty of nature along the Bank of Potomac... Nice view.. You have a visitor center where you can expect some stuff to fuel up yourself..
Very pretty park in Fairfax County. The park connects to Great Falls, part of the National Park service. There is a trail along the Potomac River connecting the two.
Excellent park. We can do boating, fishing, picnic. Kids friendly. No entrance fee. Staff are very friendly and helpful
The other reviews are correct! This place is wonderful for an easy couple of hours in nature. The path is very walkable and well maintained. There is plenty of free parking and public restrooms. They also offer kayaks on certain days. Also, if you want to go into Great Falls Park, but not pay for parking, this is your best bet!
Please call Riverbend Park at 703-759-9018 for current river conditions. Water skiing, jet skis, big boats and tubes are NOT permitted. The river section near the park is shallow and rocky.
