Last weekend my husband stayed at Villa Cathedral and we were SO happy with our time there! We stayed in the upstairs Champange room - it was so neat and clean. The bathroom is super nice and the owners really care about your comfort. There were 100% Egyptian cotton towels, the bed sheets were super high quality and soft, and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Also, the breakfast that was provided every morning was totally delicious and freshly cooked. This bnb is located super close to VIR and they are constantly making improvements to the property as well. If you are looking for somewhere nice to stay you've found a gem! Definitely recommend!
I want to give them a bad review so we can have the place all to ourselves. It was our first time staying and a B&B and they set the bar high. We stayed there for the Blur Ridge Rock Festival and it was the perfect place to rest our heads and relax while we were there. The breakfasts were fantastic, the beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, the company was great! I love Gus, their Customer Service Specialist (AKA Stud Muffin Dog). As long as I go to the BRRF I will be staying here, they do a great job making us feel comfortable and the property was beautiful!
My husband recently took part in a motorcycle class at VIR, and luckily I stumbled upon Villa Cathedral. It was conveniently close to the track but in a beautiful rural setting. So peaceful!! I enjoyed hiking on the trails to the lake and through the woods. The hosts, Lucy and Bill, were gracious, the breakfasts delicious, and the rooms spacious, clean, and comfortable. Bill gave us good advice on restaurant choices for dinner and where to find local craft brews (and helped us get the motorcycle on the trailer). Our upstairs room had access to a complete kitchen where we could relax with a beverage and keep our lunches in a refrigerator. An added benefit of this charming B&B was Gus, the poodle host, who was a friendly but laid-back greeter who welcomed us as part of the family. If we are in the area, we will definitely stay there again.
Incredible property, great hosts, and delicious breakfast! Bill and Lucy went above and beyond to accommodate our large group of 9 triathletes. The house is very beautiful, the beds and furniture are comfortable, it is very well taken care of and feels like a home. We enjoyed exploring their private lake which was found behind the main house via a trail. They cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning with gluten free and vegetarian options for us. Lastly, a big shout out to their guest relations host, Gus, their incredible lovable dog! Thanks again for hosting us, 2021 Drury University Triathlon Team!
