(January 1, 2020, 2:20 pm)A local gem! Well worth driving beyond the outskirts of town to eat at this quaint restaurant. It's a remodeled old gas station that serves delicious Country BBQ. Southern Hospitality at its finest. We will be back!

(September 7, 2019, 7:04 pm)Friendly, cozy restaurant with fresh, perfectly cooked food. We ordered hush puppies as an appetizer, they were served hot with butter, crunchy on the outside and a light, moist inside. The ribs were meaty and cooked to perfection with a tangy BBQ sauce. Too full for dessert, we purchased a homemade coconut custard pie to take home which I'm sure won't disappoint. Since it is small, I would get there early for dinner.
(August 21, 2019, 6:13 pm)Lip smacking good. Catfish bites were the best I have ever tasted. Lightest batter you could ask for. Hush puppies were crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. I didn't try the redneck egg rolls because I was too full from the catfish but everyone who tried them were impressed. This will definitely be a stop for me traveling up or down I95 in Virginia near Ashland.
