The people here are absolutely amazing. My dad just passed unexpectedly and my sister and I walked in thinking how in the world are we going to pay this?? And what do we do now ? We’ve never had to do this before.
Well we went in and spoke to one of the ladies that worked there and filled out some paper work. Towards the end we were trying to figure out maybe if the VA would help with cremation cost and such, not thinking they would but then she goes to grab I assume the director and he helped us tremendously with the cost and they helped us with the next steps and who to call and all of that. They were extremely helpful and so very kind.

"Burt" Olsen helped us deal with making the arrangements after my father's passing. He was very polite and helpful. He never once pushed us to do anything or spend anything. He listened to our requests and explained everything thoroughly. There was no deposit or up front payments required. I highly recommend that you at least consider Monaghan Funeral Home if you are in need of funeral services.

I just want to say Monaghan Funeral Home and Cremation Services is by far the best Funeral Home out her. I am a 28yr old and had to lay my grandmother/mother to rest. I was lost hurt and didn't know where to even start. They were fast when they came to pick her upit was maybe a hour after I left that Tammy called me and reassured me they everything had been taken care of. Set me up a appointment that evening to come in and have a talk she worked with my schedule. Tammy is the sweetest lady you will ever meet she made me feel as if I was family did not rush me or try to upsale me on a thing. She said and listened to me and helped me with a bunch of knowledge. I was working with a tight budget and Tammy did everything she could to help me make things perfect for my grandmother. The whole staff was so helpful. There is no way this could of been possible for me if it wasn't for Monaghan Funeral Home. Then cane the service day my grandmother was so beautiful laying there they had done everything so perfect...... then I met Jerry Monaghan himself personally came and met with me and shook my hand and made me feel like family. Then as the night went on and all the family and friends were gon and im sitting in a chair next to my grandmother's casket just wondering what to do next the service was over by 7pm here I am at 10pm sitting here lost and then I met a lady named pat she was just as sweet as could be told me take all the time I needed she just wanted to check on me gave me a hug and told me how proud she was of me and kept reassuring me everything was gonna be alright I would make it thru this. She stayed by my side untell i was ready to get up and leave I didn't think I was ever gonna be ready to leave. But pat stayed there and waited I knew she was gonna be in safe hands . I just want to thank all the staff at Monaghan Funeral Home and Cremation Services and let them know I will never use another Funeral Home again in life each member there holds a very special place in my heart from this day on thank yall sooooo much

The experience of losing a loved one is never easy, but the folks at Monaghan made the process of final arrangements as stress-free as I could ever have imagined. I also found their services to be very reasonably priced, and the personalized care you receive is incomparable. Burt & Tammy are kind, thoughtful, and thorough. They took great care of our family and I would recommend them 100%.
