“The new court house has an open layout with alot of windows, takes some of the stress of court away. The clerks are friendly and helpful. If paying fines for General District Court, downstairs, there are fees applied if paying with a card. There is a 4% of payment convince fee. If paying with cash or check there is no fee. They also have payment plans, for a $10 fee you pay 5% up front plus the $10 fee and are giving 12 months to pay the balance at your convenience. For Circuit Court fines, upstairs, they have a flat-fee of $2 for card payments. No fee for cash or check. If a payment plan is needed you tell the Clerk, give $50 for first payment, sign provided payment plan and pay $50/month there after. If you want to pay more than the $50 any extra is applied to the next month's payment. Also if paying fines online, remember that the convince fee is applied also, be prepared to pay the extra 4% for general and although I have not paid circuit fines online I believe it is the $2 flat fee, but if anyone knows different, please let me know so I can change my answers appropriately.”
