I LOVED THIS PLACE!

First, I am from NYC and in an interracial marriage, so lots of the food and spices were more suited for my wife and her love for Caribbean food.

I was very excited to find it by mistake while stopping off the road to get a soda. I called my wife and even put her on the phone with the store owner who was totally open to talking to my wife about the things in the store.

I was really happy to find something called Milo, which was a chocolate drink I used to have in Colombia many years ago.

When they International Market...trust me...they are not kidding. I saw tons of countries represented in this place. Very much a hidden gem in Virginia. I suggest going there especially if you are a meat-lover and love your hot AF spices.

Cool place to shop African food

This place never disappoints, from the cleanliness of the store to the friendly customer service. This store has It all and then some , I shop here for my “Egusi Soup” ingredients and I never have to go elsewhere. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to try something different, you will be glad you did. I hope that in the future they will sell some hot foods to showcase all of their wonderful and affordable products.

If you happen to be in the Glen Allen area in the west end of Richmond and looking for Ghanaian and or international food supplies, this is your haven. Jil International Market has it all and customer service is A+ just check it out for yourselves. I buy items from there to Europe all the time because of the trust I have and the cleanliness of the store.
