West Coast Provisions is the one of the best restaurants in the Richmond area.amazing service. Professional, engaging and getting it done. The atmosphere is very nice both inside and outside dining. They have a active bar as well. The food is amazing. I had a simple burger and fries. So so tasty. My wife has the scallops and it was so so good. Every dish was well presented and lived up to its looks. We had donuts for dessert. As you can see from my pics they where good. They are slightly higher in price for the area BUT worth the money. You simply get what you pay for . Great food :) We are looking forward to going back.
Went here for Sunday brunch and it was really very good. They had a good variety and the presentation was nice. People were very good and we were served well. I would recommend it for brunch we haven't tried it for dinner but will.
Enjoyed a lovely Birthday lunch at West Coast Provisions Short Pump! Beautiful ambiance, great service, super lovely waitstaff and bartenders, and tasty food. Fried Oysters were amazing and I enjoyed sharing my friends’ Parmesan fries. Main dishes were tasty though a different twist than expected in some cases. My shrimp and grits weren’t the traditional version I was expecting but was nonetheless delicious. Will definitely go back and try more as this was a first time. Our waitress was incredible ! Loved the complimentary birthday glass of champagne she threw in!
What a great seafood spot in Short Pump. Nicely furnished, excellent choices and super friendly staff.
TLDR: If you're looking for oysters, and classy seafood this is an excellent choice. Cocktails are on point (try the salt air margarita). If you're choosing between sushi and entrée go the entrée route. About $40 a person with a drink.
Food: We've eaten here about a half dozen times. Everything is always really tasty and the presentation is great as well. The oysters here and at their other restaurant (east coast) are some of the best in RVA. Corn chowder soup, fish tacos, fried group sandwich, and rockfish have been my favorites. My wife likes the sushi here but I think you can find better elsewhere (it's not bad by any means). The price is reasonable given location.
Drinks: The salt air margarita is so good! One of their signatures in our opinion. Fluffy foam on top of a tastey treat. Their bar tenders know how to make a drink and the price is fair.
Atmosphere: Comfy and personal seating. Eat area feels like your own personal dining space. Very nice here. Love the big half round booths.
Dessert: Haven't tried them here yet. One day we'll stop in and report back.
