Lakeside United Methodist Church

We’re new to the Lakeside area and have been visiting this church almost a month. Everyone has been very friendly and hospitable including the pastor, who made sure to personally welcome us on our first visit. They are open + affirming, diverse, and have accessible parking and entrance into building and sanctuary. They have a full choir, organ player, and regular events happening on their calendar. The sanctuary has beautiful stained glass and plenty of pews to space out with your family. Childcare is also provided, our littles look forward to going every Sunday and playing in the nursery. Service begins at 11am and lasts about an hour.

A lovely community of the faithful. You'll find that this congregation consists of mostly older folk who love their church and community. The choir director was my high school choral teacher and she's much beloved by all.

There for a district meeting. Beautiful old church. Very well maintained. Very hospitable.

They allow Tai Chi classes and have some lovely people throughout!
