Mills E. Godwin High School

I currently go to this school, and its the best school I've ever been to. I see so much love and kindness at this school! Everybody including the kids and teachers are soooo kind and accepting of everybody. I'm really shy, and all the kids and teachers look out for me ♡

Good school. Wonderful teachers. However, the insides are a bit old and there's hardly any windows. Also, the county packs as many students into a school as possible, so the hallways are frequently overcrowded

TL;DR: Great for learning, not so good for living

One of Henrico County Public Schools premier high schools. There's lots of involvement with staff and parents and students. The students are proud to be a part of the education process and extracurricular activities.

There's rivalry with Freeman and Deep Run High Schools, which makes the athletic other events exciting to attend.

Parking is something that could definitely be worked on here. When coming to events, you need to arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of events to be able to find parking as it is limited. If you have a pickup truck or SUV then you're in luck because you can park in the grassy areas.

If you're coming to pickup a student after school or drop off before school, please pack your patience. The line can be very long to enter and leave the school. You'll find parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles double parked. It would be awesome if the school resource officer (Henrico County Police) could and would prevent that double parking as it has caused many accidents over the years.
