A friend referred me to Dr. Shaw after I complained that my back hurt so bad at night I was going to buy an expensive new mattress. I had never heard of the activator method, but during my initial visit, I was shown a video describing the process and Dr. Shaw's approach to treatment. I had occasionally received chiropractic treatment before after car accidents, but this method was the fastest relief I've ever experienced. After just a few treatments, I was able to sleep through the night without pain. No need for lengthy and expensive packages of treatments. The time spent in his office at each treatment was very short, making it convenient for me to take time away from work. The office is very friendly, and Dr. Shaw is professional without being condescending. I recommend Dr. Shaw if you are looking for the shortest path to pain relief

Dr. Shaw is wonderful, my whole family has been seeing him for years. He is always able to pinpoint the problem and fix it. Kathy is wonderful as well, she always has a smile! Great practice with great people.

I am 73 years old, and this was my first experience with a chiropractor. I had made an appointment with an orthopedic doctor to get help with sciatica pain i had been suffering with for 6 months. While i was waiting for my appointment day, a friend told me i should try Dr. Shaw. I was desperate for some relief, so i decided to give him a try. That was 4 weeks ago. Today my alignment was completed. I am pain free! Treatment was quick, easy and painless. Dr. Shaw explained everything and was very professional, friendly and kind. I highly recommend him to anyone who has pain.

I had a great experience visiting Dr. Shaw’s chiropractic office. The first things that you will notice are the lovely affirmations, plants and wonderful smell (seriously- it smelled great in there). The office staff is friendly and smiley. It was an instant decompress in effect.

New patients watch a video and I have to say that it was engaging and informative. First of all, you get a sense of who is going to be treating you (that breaks down a very stressful barrier right there). In the video Dr. Shaw talks about his philosophy for medical practice and suddenly the plants, essential oils and friendly people make sense! Also, you get a sense for HOW he conducts his work- the table, no X-rays, treating the root cause not the symptoms. It was amazing (and my 17 year old thought so too).

The actual procedure, if one can be so liberal and call it that, was pleasant and I felt better when I left. And yep, I’m going back in a few days for a realignment in body and yes, spirit.
