Pastor Josh, you have done it over and again, bringing us your sermon about Job today was incredible and insightful. Thank you for always bringing us closer to God and Savior and Holy Spirit.
We are truly blessed to have you at Mount Vernon.

Today was my first time visiting Mount Vernon Baptist Church. The service was wonderful and the people were very friendly! The 1st service had a contemporary feel with more modern Christian music and I stayed to see the second service which was more traditional and had some of my favorite hymns from when I was a kid going to church with my family. Pastor Josh did a fantastic job delivering the sermon from the Bible, which you don’t see a lot of today. It was very refreshing. My boys had an awesome time in children’s church. When I went to pick them up they were outside playing on the huge playground. When I asked them what they had learned they were able to tell me the story and lesson that they learned today, so they were clearly engaged with the lesson. The boys and I were glad we came today and look forward to visiting again next week!

I have been a member of Mt. Vernon for55 years. I did "backslide" for quite a few years but am now attending again. If you are looking for a church family, you should visit. The congregation welcomes all without reservation in the name of Jesus Christ.

This is an excellent space with a fantastic Fellowship Hall that works great for a conference room. There are additional rooms that are great for smaller sessions or events. Bathrooms and other facilities are well-maintained to provide a beautiful space overall.
