“First thing you notice is the campus scenery, it is beautiful. There is a modern colonial vibe to the place. You can hear the road but it is far in the distance. There is an active rail line at the bottom of the hill. This would be a good place to leave the tech behind and unplug. There is no tv in the rooms and the twin beds feel like more of a camp. You can tell this place is close to perfect for a religious retreat. The nicest building is the chapel. The place needs some blackout curtains, renovating, and some more activity things to do. This is a low energy place. A running trail with markers could be a cheap upgrade. I came with a conference, but the place isn't built well for large groups that are not staying. Staff seems nice. The place is for non profit, individual, and government reservations. Plan to bring activities for yourself unless you want to vegitate meditate. The place needs some money and maintenance seems lacking. I was told there is a trail into the woods, but i already saw the movie and i know what happens.”
