As first time parents with a newborn, we were late to our first two appointments but the reception team was so nice and accommodating on the phone and in person. We have had a great experience with the reception team, nurses, and Dr. Nyirenda. Dr. Nyirenda is very straightforward and reassuring, which we really like, and she always spends time answering all of our questions. We like how close this is to our house and close to a Kroger with a Pharmacy in case we ever have to pick up a prescription.
I have a special needs son, and Dr. Briggs is very good with him. The nurses and office staff are incredibly hospitable and personable. I never have to wait long to be seen. I also like that they are part of the Bon Secours network now. My son has several Bon Secours specialists, so the pediatrician has easy access to all of his records. They make this mama's life much easier!
Dr. Addie is great. Even when the office is packed, she rarely makes you feel like you're rushed so she can get to the next patient.she can be abrupt, but if you ask questions she opens up a little, explains nicely. She doesn't like giving small kids prescriptions, so ask about natural alternatives and it's like talking to a different person, she is informed and passionate. The rooms are cheery with a different picture painted on the wall in each room. All of the stuff members are super awesome too.
While I may not always see eye to eye with Dr. Briggs, she has always been straight forward and honest. I appreciate that, I have had doctors that will kiss my ass and puff me up. If I am doing something wrong tell me, if there is a better way to do it, tell me. I make mistakes like every human, I do not know everything, no one does. Dr. Briggs has always tentative to the children and will address any concerns I may have. If I am over thinking it, she will not hesitate to tell me and vice versa. She has always been respectful of my wishes. She may come off as cold, but she isn't. She has always laughed at my minions no matter how annoying they may be. She is an excellent doctor and I am happy to have her as my children's primary.
