Great service and great food!

I had a pork sandwich and my husband had the BBQ pork platter. This place is so delicious. Loved it. So glad we stopped in while we were in town.

Again, I wish I could put half stars in. I would say this would be closer to 4 and a 1/2 stars.

Cons:
On my visit today they did not have brisket available which was disappointing. The green beans seemed to me like canned beans that were dumped and heated. I went with a coworker who had the mac and cheese and said it was not good, at all.

Pros:
The staff is amazingly friendly. The servings are very generous.

The meat is outstanding. They gave me and a coworker a rib to try on the house. Out of this world. They didnt sauce it, but they give you a tray of sauces to try that are really good.

The pulled pork had great flavor and the hush puppies were really goood. The beans had chucks of pulled pork and were also great.

On the quality of the meat, portion sizes and staff I would give it ultimately a 4.5 if I could give half stars.

Great down home feeling. They make you feel like one of the kids coming for dinner. Loved it! Going back next week when we are in town. Show some love to this great small business before they are all gone! Oh and that brisket sandwich!
